NEW DEVICE INSTALLATION FOR THE FIRST TIME
Setup via Laptop
1. Go to https://cloud.ray.life/
2. Click Create Account
After creating account user can fill the device details or AP details.
Fill up details like mac address of apn and last 6 digit of serial number then we have to select mode .
There are 3 mainly modes – Gateway, Bridge+firewall , Bridge no firewall. This mode selection can be done on the customer requirement. So this is the process for install the hardware. If customer wants some security then must have to suggest Bridge+firewall mode. If customer don’t aware about modes then we have to ask its apn use means how user wants to use APN or wifi . according to the customer requirement we have to suggest the different modes.
This is the simple process to add hardware or to configure cluster. Device can added on to the portal using mac address so it can then accessible via cloud.
