OTP via E-mail captive portal
OTP via Email is a type of captive portal that requires OTP through Email.
The following are the steps to get this portal service enabled in your cluster.
Step1. Create an OTP config profile
Make sure you create an OTP profile first for your OTP message.
Click on the Captive Portal Menu
Click on OTP Config Sub Menu
Click on the Create OTP config tab
Step2. Enter the Configuration details in the OTP config profile.
Enter the details you want in your OTP message via email.
An example has been given in the below snapshot.
Step3. Create a captive portal for OTP via Email
Click on the Captive Portals Menu.
Click on the Portals Sub Menu.
Click on the +Create Portal.
Click on Create portal, just like displayed in the below snapshot.
Step 4. Configure Portal Authentication.
On clicking the Create Portal tab, a pop-up window will show up asking for Pre Authentication.
Click on the None Radio button as displayed below. then click save and proceed to Authentication type
as displayed below.
Step5. Selecting the Authentication type
On clicking Save from Step 6, the Next window With Authentication Method will pop up requesting for Authentication type to use.?
It is at this step that we Select the OTP Via Email as our Authentication type by clicking the Drop down menu and Clicking on the OTP Via Email Box as shown in the image below,
After, We click on a template to proceed to the next step.
Step6. Portal name, business category, OTP profile
On clicking the template tab, the next step is to enter the Portal name, select the business category, and select the OTP config profile you have created.
as depicted in the images below.
Step7. Type the Welcome message and URL to open after successful Login.
From this page, we can also customize the look of our Captive Portal page by uploading a background image and Logo.
Step8. Captive page preview
You can check the preview of the captive login page.
Step9. WLAN profile publishing
Go to Profiles ->> Wlan
Input the below details.
Profile Name. Give a proper name to the WLAN profile.
Description of the Wlan Profile.
Definition. From the dropdown, select the Captive Portal.
Captive Portal. Select the Captive Portal Template created.
Network Interface. By default, the WLAN is Bridged to the WAN Interface.
Press Submit.
Now you have successfully created the OTP via E-mail-based Captive Portal.
