A notification is a message or alert that is sent to inform a person about an event, an update, an alert, or any other relevant information. Notifications can come from applications, computer systems, mobile devices, or any other means of communication.
An email notification is a message sent via email to inform the recipient about a specific event, update, or piece of information.
RAY also provides you with a feature where you can get notifications via Email When your appliance/gateway Internet status is down.
To enable the email notification follow the below steps:-
1. First, you have to login to the cloud.ray.life using the same email/user ID to which you want to send the notifications.
2. After login, go to Settings.
3. Go to notifications. 
4. Scroll down, you will see the internet status below the Notification Type.
5. Click on the check box to enable the Email option.
Now you will get the notifications via email about the internet status.
You can enable multiple other notification Types as well:
1. To enable Interface status Down
2. To enable SD_WAN Tunnel status Down
