NTP (Network Time Protocol) configuration is the process of setting up a system to synchronize its clock with a reliable time source, such as public NTP servers or internal organizational time servers. This ensures that all devices in a network maintain accurate and consistent time, which is crucial for logs, authentication, and other time-sensitive operations.
- Go to Application Settings under Profiles Tab:
- Log into your Cloud Controller.
- Home Page > Profiles > Appliance Settings
- Select NTP Configuration:
- To save the customized settings, give a name to the setting and select Appliance under definitions.
- Select the NTP Configuration tab.
- Enter Primary and Secondary NTP servers domain according to your requirement and select the checkbox to enable the servers.
- Go to the Advance Tab:
- To select for which device the setting is applicable, scroll down to Advance Tab.
- Open the advance tab and under the section "Applicable For" a drop-down menu will appear from which you can select which device this configuration is applicable for.
- To select for which device the setting is applicable, scroll down to Advance Tab.
- Save the Setting:
- Once the device has been configured according to your requirements, save the configuration by clicking save.
