Client Information Section:
This section provides details about clients connected to the network, including information such as the MAC Address, IP Address, Device Name, Lease Duration, and more.
- Login to your Account.
- Go to Clients → Click on Networks (as shown in the picture below).
Apply Filters:
- To filter the client data, click on the Filter button. It will provide the following options:
- IP Reservation
- Whitelist/Blacklist Devices
- Bypass Devices
- DHCP Lease Devices
- Assigned Group
- Unassigned Group
- Search Group
- Session Status
- Show Reachable ARP
- Show Non-Reachable ARP
- Hide Appliances
You can also search for specific devices using the search bar and filter by signal quality.
For more details about a device, go to Action and select View to see the device details.
To create or remove Blacklist, whitelist, assign group, Add Bypass device, check User Sessions.
- Go to Clients----> In the Device.
1. Add to Blacklist:
This refers to the process of blocking specific devices from accessing a network or service. This action helps protect the network from potential threats or unwanted traffic.
- Click on Add to Blacklist---> Click on +Add Devices.
- Add MAC Address + Name (you want to Add multiple Click on “+”)
Notes:
If you want to Add bulk devices as Blacklist, Add CSV file.
If you want to apply it to all clusters, swipe right on the button shown in the picture.
2. Remove From Blacklist:
This refers to the process of removing from blocking devices. This action helps to allow devices to connect with the network.
- Click on Remove from Blacklist---> Click on +Add Devices.
- Add MAC Address + Name (you want to Add multiple Click on “+”)
Notes:
If you want to Remove bulk devices from Blacklist, Add CSV file.
3. Add to Whitelist:
When a device is added to a whitelist, it's considered trustworthy and permitted to interact with the network or system, while all other devices are either blocked or required to undergo additional checks.
- Click on Add to whitelist---> Click on +Add Devices.
- Add MAC Address + Name (you want to Add multiple Click on “+”)
Notes:
If you want to Add bulk device as whitelist, Add CSV file.
If you want to apply it to all clusters, swipe right on the button shown in the picture.
4. Remove From Whitelist:
When a device is removed from the whitelist, it is no longer authorized to access the network or system.
- Click on Remove from whitelist---> Click on +Add Devices.
- Add MAC Address + Name (you want to Add multiple Click on “+”)
Notes:
If you want to Remove devices in Bulk from whitelist, Add CSV file.
5. Assign Group:
If we want to assign a specific Security group to device, we can use assign group.
- Click on Select Group---> Select Security Group--->Click on Add Device.
- Add MAC Address + Name (you want to Add multiple Click on “+”).
Notes:
If you want to Remove devices in Bulk from whitelist, Add CSV file.
6. Remove From Group:
To remove specific security group from device,
- Click on Add Group---> Select Group.
7. User Sessions:
This session gives information about when the user connected to the device.
- Click on User Sessions.
This will provide you with a list of both online and past users.
- User Sessions also has a filter option, allowing you to narrow down the list.
You can filter the list by MAC Address, Username, Appliances, Group, Dates (from-to).
Once you've set the desired filters, click Apply to apply the filter.
8. Bypass Device:
A bypass device is used in networking to temporarily redirect or bypass the normal network path.
- Click on Bypass Device.
- Click on Select Group---> Select Security Group.
- Add MAC Address + Name (you want to Add multiple Click on “+”).
Notes:
If you want to Remove devices in Bulk from whitelist, Add CSV file.
9. Remove from Bypass Devices:
This is for removing devices from bypass list.
- Click on Remove from Bypass Device.
- Click on Add Group---> Select Group.
It will give you a list of bypass devices.
You can Tick mark and Apply Save to remove Device OR you can Add MAC Address + Name to remove device.
