? What is a BYOD Policy?

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policy is a set of rules that allows employees to use their personal devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets) for work while ensuring security, privacy, and compliance.

? Why is a BYOD Policy Important?

Convenience – Employees can use familiar devices.
Cost Savings – Reduces the need for company-owned devices.
Flexibility – Enables remote work and productivity.
⚠️ Security Risks – Unmanaged personal devices can introduce malware, data breaches, or unauthorized access.

Create Security Group

Next, Enter your Profile and group name as "BYOD

and Enable the BYOD option.

Scroll down at the end select Applicable for Gateway, and SAVE.

Now, need to attach the created security group to WLAN.

Go to Profile > Wlan click on the Action button and select View/Edit

Select the BYOD policy we created earlier, then save and publish the profile.

After that, go to the JOB section and ensure you wait until the WIFI and BYOD jobs are finished.

Once both jobs are finished; go to the Client section to provide access or approval.

You can select multiple devices at once and approve as shown in steps 2 and 3.

For individual devices, follow steps 4 and 5.
