Troubleshooting: SDWAN Tunnel


If any site’s LAN IP is not pingable, then follow these troubleshooting steps.



1. First check the device is added into the tunnel or not.

    Check the tunnel is showing in cluster with current view off



    Then go to view member on your tunnel 


    Your device should be present here

    If your device is not present here,

   then you have to add the device in tunnel from parent level.

 

2.If device is added in tunnel, then check tunnel is pingable or not.


To check tunnel is pingable go to Appliance tab > go to appliance Action button > 

Debugging utilities > ping

Then check your tunnel is pingable or not.


Add Details as shown in below image



Check ping is working or not

 

 




 

3. If tunnel tunnel is pingable you have to check Lan IP is pingable with these steps.


  • Go to device in appliance tab and open debugging utilities
  • Go to ping and add details with the reference of below image

 


Add Destination Ip

Select LAN

Then provide Device’s LAN IP as source address

And packet count



 

 

If the LAN IP is not pingable then restart that sdwan member 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Go to SDWAN TAB > Select the tunnel > view members 

 

 

Then restart the member

 

Check the jobs in parent cluster, after all jobs are finished then check ping to

LAN IP again.
