The purpose of a Custom Applications Policy in Ray Cloud Controller is to give administrators fine-grained control over network traffic by defining rules that allow or block specific applications, domains, IP addresses, services, or protocols.

HOW IT WORKS:

Step 1:

Go to the desired cluster, in which you want to implement Custom Applications Policy.

Step 2:

To create Custom Applications Policy, go to policy under Profiles section. Click on the create policy to create a new policy.

Step 3:

Give a Profile name and Description, After that click on the Definitions.

Enter the IP addresses or domains to be allowed or denied, separating multiple entries with commas (,). Choose the required Common Services (default: - Custom) and select the appropriate Protocols based on your network needs (default: All Traffic).

Click Save to save this custom policy.
