Web filtering is a method of managing internet access by restricting or allowing websites based on predefined rules. It uses techniques such as URL filtering, keyword matching, and content analysis to block harmful or inappropriate content, improve safety in schools, and boost productivity in workplaces. Web filtering can be applied at the network, proxy, or client level.
