Every Ray Appliance uses a 256 bit encrypted certificate to communicate with the Ray Platform on the cloud. 

A valid certificate ensures highest level of security and compliance. 


The certificate could be lost or marked invalid due to various reaons including Soft or Hard reset of the Access Point, manual certificate rejection etc. 


In this case, the Access Point shall show a Red Triangle next to its name. 


To regenerate a new certificate is very simple. 


Step 1: Click Regenerate Certificate.



Step 2: Restart the Ray device with power cycle.


Upon restart the Appliance shall have a new valid certificate and shall use it to communicate with the Ray Platform.
