Once logged in, navigate to the Captive Portal, Types of Captive portal section from the main dashboard or menu.
Stage 1: Create a New Captive Portal:
In the Captive Portal page, click on the +Create Portal button to create a new portal.
Configure Pre-Authentication Settings
- On the Pre-Authentication tab, click on Skip to bypass any additional pre-authentication configurations.
Note: Pre-authentication refers to the process of verifying a user's identity or device before granting access to a network or service. It typically occurs before the main authentication procedure. Pré-authentication helps to improve security by filtering out unauthorized devices or users early in the connection process, reducing the risk of security breaches.
Select the Authentication Type
- Under the Authentication section, select The Voucher from the available options.
Assign a Name to the Portal
- Assign an appropriate Name for the Captive Portal. This name will help you identify the portal for future management or updates.
Example: "FreeWiFiPortal".
Select the Business Category
- From the Business Category dropdown, select the category that best represents your network. This could be something like Café, Restaurant, Bar, Mall etc. (If you want to select other Category Select "Default" from dropdown).
Click on Save to save configuration.
Go to The Assets Management (Optional) page to customize the Welcome Message.
- Add Welcome massage as per your requirement.
Example: "Welcome to Free Wi-Fi! Please click below to access the internet."
- Add URL which you want to redirect After successfully connected with internet.
Click on Save.
- If you want to Add Terms and Condition, Add as shown in figure.
In the Assets Management page, you can also Upload a logo and Image to personalize your portal’s page.
- Click the Upload Logo option and select your logo file (ensure it meets the required file format and size).
- Click to Select Background Image as per your requirement.
Stage 2: Create Voucher Plan:
- In the Voucher Plan section, click on +Create Voucher Plan to assign a voucher plan to the batch.
Adding a Voucher Plan, provide a Name for the plan (e.g., "Voucher Plan").
Stage 3: Create Voucher Batch:
- From the dashboard, Go to the Voucher section, where you can manage and create voucher batches for your captive portal.
- Click on the +Create Voucher Batch button to initiate the creation of a new batch of vouchers.
- Fill Out Required Fields for Voucher Batch:
Voucher Batch Name (e.g., "Event Wi-Fi Access").
Voucher Batch Quantity (e.g., 100).
Validity In Days (e.g., 30 Days).
Voucher Length (e.g.,6-8 characters).
Note: A voucher code can include numbers, uppercase letters, and lowercase letters.
- In the Portal section, attach the Captive Portal you created for the vouchers.
Example: Choose the "FreeWiFiPortal" that you set up earlier.
- In the Voucher Batch Configuration page, Attach Voucher Plan at Search and Select Voucher Plan Tab.
- You can Generate Fixed Voucher Code by Click on given box and need to Add Fixed Voucher Code as per your requirement.
Suppose you want to generate 100 voucher codes. Generate Fixed Voucher Code will generate a single code for all 100 vouchers.
Note:
If you set the validity in days, there is no need to specify a quota expiry date (which would set a specific end date/time for voucher use). The system will automatically manage the expiry based on the validity period you enter.
- After completing the configuration, click Save to create the voucher batch.
To Activate a Voucher:
- Go to Action → Select Activate Voucher.
The status will change from Generated to Activated.

To View a Voucher:
- Go to Action → Select View Voucher.
This will display the Voucher Code, Start Date, Expiration Date, and Status.
